How to Install pterm software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

pterm software package provides PuTTY terminal emulator, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pterm

pterm is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pterm package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pterm *

You will get with pterm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
